Rapitala Winery
Sep 2015. The Rapitalà estate covers 225 hectares in the territory between Camporeale and Alcamo, on 300-600 meter high hills. The perfect exposure and composition of the soil make it ideal for the cultivation of the finest vines. A landscape of vineyards, chasing and painting rows’ geometries, turned into golden hills by the colourful and Mediterranean sunlight. Rapitalà is a real name, derived from the Arabic: Rabidh-Allah, “River of Allah”, the creek flowing through the vineyards. This witnesses that these lands were cultivated since ancient times. Over the centuries, generations of farmers have designed its identity and its current appearance.
